Bruins Look to Take 2 Game Lead over Sens

On Wednesday, the Boston Bruins came into Ottawa and topped the Senators 2-1. Despite not even getting the puck on net for the duration of the 2nd period, Boston rallied during the 3rd. Massachusetts native Frank Vatrano scored the game tying goal, while Brad Marchand put away the game-winner with 2:33 left in regulation. Today, the Senators look to tie the series at home, while Boston’s goal is to take a 2-0 lead into the TD Garden. Charlie McAvoy looks to continue his success after making his NHL debut in game one, putting on an impressive performance. Injuries will be something to watch out for, as the Bruins almost lost Colin Miller last night. David Krejci was scratched just before game time in game one. A bright spot for Boston was Tukka Rask, who made 26 saves. The number isn’t much to look at on paper, but the highlight reels featuring his circus-like saves might say otherwise. Ottawa needs to get the puck on goal and capitalize on opportunities if they want to even the series. The game is on Saturday at 3:00 and will be aired on NBC.
